Dog adoption is a hot topic these days--why animal lovers should try to adopt a dog if at all possible, why we need more of it, and how it brings the perfect rescue dogs together with new loving families. No matter how many successful pet adoptions take place, there are still more dogs and puppies for adoption in countless animal shelters across the U.S. and throughout the world. It's a sad picture. Perhaps you've heard the saying, "I am only one person...but I am one person!" We can't adopt all the dogs in the world, but we can adopt one (or more) and make a difference in that precious pup's life as well in the lives of our family members.
