Shane

Shane is the first Golden I have ever been owned by, as I have always had mainly Cockers, with a Newfoundland, German Shepherd and English Mastiff at various times joining in.

Now I have my special Golden, with Oscar and Maybelle, two lumbering Clumbers. Never had three dogs that get on so very well! Two entire boys and one spayed girl.

Shane is rising 10yrs. He is my best friend who has been there for me through thick and thin, with Oscar and Maybelle backing him up.

They think they are Goldens, as Shane has been a huge influence on them. In fact, Oscar acts just like his Golden buddy in his Clumbery sort of way.

My little family is so very close. They live indoors of course, and my precious Golden understands everything I say. He thinks he is the gentle leader of the pack and he gets that quiet respect.

The one thing I regret is not having any Goldens in my life before Shane. From now on things will change. Should have time for one or two more, I hope.
