Everybody has some kind of travel stories. I mean, whenever you leave the house, life can become an adventure, right?

We definitely had plenty of adventures when we traveled in the western U.S. with our Golden, Peaches (seen here).

And these days when so many people are taking their pets with them wherever they go, things can get even more interesting.

Traveling with a Golden Retriever is usually an absolute delight.

He never knows a stranger, and his admirers begin to line up wherever you stop for a few minutes.

What's not to love about Goldens, anyway?

And then there are the times when things don't quite go according to plan. Maybe some of those pet friendly motels on your itinerary don't accept pets over ten pounds.

Or your Golden ate something he shouldn't have ("Who, me?") and you all paid the price for his indiscretion.

Did your Golden interact with another animal or a person during your travels, creating either a heartwarming or a memorable occasion? (They're not necessarily the same thing, you know!)

Life with our Goofy Goldens can bring us some pretty funny stories, especially on the road. Share yours with us, and we'll all enjoy a chuckle.

The only predictable thing about traveling is that it's probably going to be unpredictable at times.
